Project Profile:
MyDealerLot was first engaged by Mercedes-Benz Manhattan nearly two years ago with the Service Drive Concierge Deployment at the 41st street facility. RFID technology was new to Mercedes-Benz Manhattan, but the executive management of the store saw the immediate potential and the window of opportunity to tag cars prior to the new facility opening. We deployed our solutions and had them in operation during the construction window for the new facility.

Fast forward to May 2011 with the grand opening of this showcase Autohaus facility covering seven (7) acres in a five (5) story facility. What’s been build is the most technologically advanced facility in the country with widespread use of MyDealerLot’s technology with the following uses:

- Personalized greeting and recognition using MyDealerLot’s Service Drive Concierge
- Vehicle location tracking using MyDealerLot’s Location Concierge
- Vehicle dispatch management using MyDealerLot’s Vehicle Dispatcher
- Tracking of loaners, car wash (client and loan car), and more

MyDealerLot worked closely with the executive team and Mercedes-Benz Manhattan to create the world’s first vehicle dispatching solution - Vehicle Dispatcher using RFID tags on plastic cone hats for location tracking of any incoming vehicle into the facility.

Deployment Gear:
Nine (9) RFID readers working in tandem with thirteen (13) antennas for client welcoming, car wash tracking, and zonal location identification. Two (2) fifty-five (55) inch flat screens deployed in the service lane. Loaner arrival displays on the loaner desk. Vehicle Dispatcher displays for valets and vehicle retrieval staffs.
